Recycling bras

Most women have at least one bra in their collection that they don’t wear. Perhaps they bought it to wear for one special occasion, and it has since been redundant. Perhaps it’s just not that comfortable, or it’s now the wrong size. Or maybe your tastes have changed and you just don’t like it anymore.

Whatever the reason, it can be hard to rehome underwear, but there are two organizations who would like to help you recycle your bras and find them a home with women who can’t afford to buy new bras of their own, both at home and overseas. There’s BreastTalk’s bra appeal, and Oxfam have started to accept bra donations as well. Don’t forget to label them with their size if you’ve cut the labels out, and do make sure they’re clean!
