Will you be scammed if you sell your gold, silver or platinum to a money for gold broker

Considering the latest condition of the US economy and the continuous increasing movement upwards in precious metal prices , it is necessary that people are taking out their damaged gold jewelry and are getting rid of them to cash 4 gold industries because they need to find some more money to pay down some extra bills as a way to make future bill payments.  Assuming you are experiencing the same situation you will be wise to methodically do your investigative work before giving away your gold jewelry to just any gold dealers because there are an ever increasing number of fraudulent gold brokers in the gold buying business who won’t hesitate to prey on your desperate situation and give very little for your gold and silver.  Even though this behavior isn’t a scam, it is however, not in your best interest and I feel obligated to tell those of you who are considering exchanging your broken gold, silver or platinum jewelry to be certain to stay away from companies that are posing as middle men and to deal only with precious metal refineries or gold buying companies that utilize their in-house precious metal refineries The truth, cash for gold buyers are nothing more than middle men between you and a gold refinery and as a result they will give you approximately 30 percent of the value for your gold and instantly resell it directly to a gold buyer themselves and they will be pocketing the lions share while you keep a couple lousy bucks.  Not so long ago, Fox news conducted a kind of undercover sting, in that they submitted 3 exact same pieces of jewelry to 3 different precious metal companies and waited for the payment and while all of the companies did in fact send a check for their unwanted gold, only 1 of those cash for gold companies actually gave the true value while the other 2 gold buyers payed approximately 30 percent of today’s real value.  The 2 businesses that gave so little were acting as a middle man while the 3rd cash for gold company that payed the true value did utilize their own gold refinery, so it is seller beware in this industry and I absolutely suggest that you do your research before unloading your unneeded gold jewelry
