An Overview of Dehumidifiers

In contrast to humidifiers, dehumidifiers are household appliances that are effective in decreasing the level of moisture present in the air.

These appliances ensure that the humidity in a room is 30 per cent to 50 per cent. By using a dehumidifier, diseases caused by insects like cockroaches, fleas and moths can be prevented.

Dehumidifiers have three types, namely the desiccant type, electronic type, air conditioners and makeshift dehumidifiers.

Most models of these appliances are portable so consumers can bring these anywhere and they can be safe from illnesses associated in places where there is a high level of moisture.
