First trip south
We are soon to be heading off on our first trip anywhere in the southern hemisphere and after consulting several friends who have been, we decided on New Zealand. Of course there are always plenty of things to organize for a vacation so I got straight on to doing that. The flights were pretty easily sorted as was a vehicle, I just went through car hire new zealand and they arranged one for us to pick up from the airport. Some friends of ours had suggested a hotel they stayed at which was right down by the waterfront so we thought we would give that a shot, at least for our first few nights there.
