Happy compromise
I was desperately needing to organize a rental car for the upcoming weekend as my wife and I had several members of the extended family coming to visit. I had told my wife that there was no way I would be driving them all around for the weekend, so the compromise was that I had to pay for a car for them to use. I was actually pretty happy with this deal! Of course I had to hire a 7 seater, but I still did not mind as it meant I did not have to deal with her Aunties and cousins.
